The mother of Jim Carrey‘s late ex Cathriona White has filed a lawsuit against the performer, blaming him for giving her daughter three STDs and supplying her with the drugs she used to kill herself.
Cathriona White, a 30-year-old Irish-born makeup artisit who dated Carrey, 54, on and off from 2012, overdosed on September 24, 2015.
The drugs Ambien, Propranolol and Oxycodone were found in her framework. They had been recommended to Arthur King, an alias utilized via Carrey, as per the suit brought by White’s mom, Brigid Sweetman.
Ms Sweetman is looking for harms from Carrey for wrongful demise and infringement of the street pharmacist risk act in the claim documented on Tuesday.
“As a family, we want the world to know the truth about who Jim Carrey really is — a man that will give your daughter three STDs, lie about it, call her terrible names and demean her, use his high-priced lawyers to try and shut her and her family up, and then give her illegal drugs,” Sweetman said in a statment.
As indicated by court reports acquired by the NY Post, Sweetman said her little girl was upset after Carrey gave her oral and genital herpes and chlamydia, then denied it.
Carrey’s legal advisor Martin D. Artist let go back with an announcement to People magazine.
“It is understandable that a mother who has lost a daughter will look for someone to blame,” Singer said.
