Tickets for the show will go on special one month from now, and entertainers will be reported on a moving premise.
The news comes only a couple of weeks after The Revolution declared two get-together shows in Minneapolis.
The gathering – involved Wendy Melvoin, Lisa Coleman, Brown Mark, Dr. Fink, Bobby Z., Dez Dickerson, and André Cymone – have booked in two shows at the First Avenue venue in city in the condition of Minnesota, where Prince was from and where scenes were shot for the late music legend’s ‘Purple Rain’ video in 1984.
They will perform at the famous music club on September 2 and September 3.
Discussing the demise of Prince – who was discovered dead at his Paisley Park home in April at 57 years old – the gathering said: “Just by playing for you, the fans, would we be able to be Prince’s Revolution. He gives Us 2 each other now, as we as a whole begin and fill everlastingly void with sound. 2gether, we are The Revolution (sic).”
The Revolution played on three of Prince’s collections, 1985’s ‘Around the globe in a Day’, 1986’s “Parade” and ‘Purple Rain’.
