Without a moment to spare for Thanksgiving, The Weeknd releases his new short film “Mania” on Wednesday morning.
Prior this week, the singer-songwriter teased the release of an upcoming video via twitter, trailed by promotional shots and clips from the piece. The 12-minute video, directed by Grant Singer, featires new music from the singer’s anticipated album “Starboy” and includes visuals already used by the artist, for example, the black panther seen in the opening shot and the red sports car used in his “Starboy” music video.
“Mania” is produced by Sual Germaine and Nina Soriano. The short film includes the songs” All I Know”, “Sidewalks,” “Secrets,” “Die For You,” “Party Monster” and “I Feel It Coming” from the upcoming record. It also Incorporates collaborations with Future, Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey, and more.
